Interested in the Marine Option Program (MOP), or curious on what can MOP do for your academic career at UH? MOP is a system wide program on Kauai, Oahu (WCC, KCC, HCC & UH-Manoa), Maui and the Big Island. Student of all majors get involved in MOP for several resons. Most would like to learn a bit more about the our important oceans while an undergraduate. The important networking and life building skills are important. Students take offered a couple directions at MOP. Marine Experiential eduational experience thru many of MOP's field trips, talks, cruises and reserch projects. Most students get involved in MOP to earn a MOP certificate while pursuing an undergraduate degree. The hands on experiential opportunities offered take students a long way with a practical applicaition of their studies. Students come from many different majors with the main theme of a love for the ocean or a desire to learn more.
